Managing Director

Ryan loved technology and the online world since he was a child. As an adolescent, he witnessed the birth of the internet through a screeching and squealing dial-up modem.

He decided to make his passion into a career and completed a degree from the University of Sydney in Engineering, specialising in electronic commerce. This provided the strong foundation in technology and electronic marketing.

With over fifteetn years’ experience working in boutique and consulting roles including at NASDAQ’s Sydney office, Ryan enjoys the diversity and complexity of the technical side, while working with his clients to bolster their online presences.

As a highly regarded social media expert, Ryan works with the likes of ABC News and Marie Claire and is regular commentator on social media strategy.

Nicole Shelley B.Com, CPA, CIMA
Operations Manager

Nicole has a diverse and broad corporate background having held finance, strategic planning, operational management and practice management roles for top tier global law firm Freehills, later Herbert Smith Freehills.

Nicole is responsible for the smooth running of Pepper IT and provides project management for each of Pepper IT’s mid to large scale projects. In addition to this, Nicole works with Ryan to oversee the marketing and social media team.

With an accounting background and a CPA qualification from The University of Newcastle, Nicole holds particular interest in turning the abundance of online marketing and analytical data into valuable information that can then be converted to achieve clients’ business objectives.

Marketing Manager

Alex is an experienced marketing and business development professional with over 17 years’ experience across marketing, business development, campaign/project management, client relationship management and thought leadership. She has particular expertise in the professional services sector having worked for global and top tier firms including Herbert Smith Freehills, Clayton Utz and Pincent Masons.

She uses her broad spectrum of experience to leverage the full marketing mix to help businesses grow their revenue through relevant and targeted marketing, profiling and engagement with both their existing and target client base.

Digital Content Producer

Avalon is an experienced content marketer with over eight years’ experience working across startups, government and property to artistically produce content for different platforms including social media, website copy, email marketing and blog posts.

With a degree in Media and a diverse skill set, Avalon is passionate using content marketing as a voice for Pepper ITs clients, as well as creating and implementing tailored digital marketing strategies.

Currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Law majoring in Marketing at the University of Sydney, Marina has a strong interest in the way digital and social media marketing can be used to change and influence consumer behaviour.

In particular, Marina’s passion is in the way data and analytics can be used to shape marketing campaigns and marketing messages in order to connect and drive customer behaviour.
