In the Hibernation national liftout, News Corp ran an article about the virtual dinner party trend. It looked at how TV personality Sophie Monk was getting on board by hosting her own dinner party.
Our Managing Director Ryan Shelley was happy to give an interview for this story. Ryan shared the latest figures on the increase in Facebookâs voice and video-calling apps downloads and usage. He cited that these have more than doubled during the lockdown period.
“There has also been an exponential increase in the number downloads and use of meeting apps. These include Zoom and Houseparty, and are popular as many parties move to social media.”
