AFPG needed to engage the services of an agency for the purpose of website design, development and maintenance as well as SEO integration.
At the heart of what they wanted to produce was to align with AFPG’s philosophy of being easy and effective to work with.
Pepperit was delighted to be appointed to create a website that would break the traditional constitution of a financial services firm by utilising effective imagery and a user-friendly navigation and layout.
To develop a website in an industry that is complex and multifaceted, pepper went about designing AFPG a site built on the WordPress content management system.
This provided a straightforward site that gave the desired simple and easily navigable user experience. The site project had two primary objectives:
A significant element of our website design and development was implementing several SEO migration strategies to ensure key search rankings were retained. This involved significant work on improving meta data, working through outstanding redirects and other key SEO strategies for new websites.
On an ongoing basis, pepperit was engaged to support AFPG with website maintenance, including the development of new sections on the site and an integration of a Facebook feed to the news section to further enrich their marketing strategy.
It’s always a little easier to support clients’ marketing efforts when they determine such strong, clear and defined goals up front. To be successful, we had to create effective call to action moments on each page of the site and drive leads and email sign ups.
Above the fold on each page sit clear contact us buttons, on-brand, yet difficult to miss for the scanners among us. We built a prominent contact forms with few fields following UX best practice. With 85% of users being on a desktop computer, these forms could be prominent and bold. The online portal is also a popular tool for AFPG clients, that reduces the AFPG compliance and administration overhead.
The site has seen visitation increase for new users by 86.3%. Attributable to the thorough audit and ongoing tweaks made through SEO efforts. In all, the AFPG team were delighted with the final result, especially the quick time in which we were able to get the new site up live and running. It got AFPG back in the game much sooner.
