
Since 1995, Centacare Catholic Country SA (CCCSA) has provided vital social services and well-being support across rural South Australia. With an aim to foster community well-being, their extensive program offers professional, inclusive, and dignified services. In addition, CCCSA actively supports Aboriginal communities by initiating and supporting cultural understanding and reconciliation. Their involvement with the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the Voice to Parliament is essential to their commitment to advocacy and unity.
With a focus on supporting vulnerable populations and building sustainable, safe, and engaged communities, CCCSA sought a straightforward approach for their 2023 annual report.

Having produced CCCSA’s 2022 Annual Report, the team approached pepperit to maintain consistency for their established brand while invigorating the content with new achievements and a passion for the region and its communities.
The annual report aimed to highlight CCCSA’s successes, overcoming challenges, and having a positive impact on the community.
We collaborated with multiple stakeholders from CCCSA branches to gather information on the programs and specific achievements from the year. The focus was on emphasising CCCSA’s successes, illustrating how they overcame challenges, and showcasing their positive impact on the community. To ensure a cohesive message, we worked closely with each contributor to coordinate their input into a unified tone of voice, consistent with CCCSA’s brand.
Incorporating staff photographs played a crucial role in enhancing the sense of community and connection inherent to CCCSA and their work.


The report design required balancing a familiar structure for easy access to information and data, with imagery that highlights the beauty of the region with the joy and appreciation of the communities receiving CCCSA services. Our designers worked together to establish the framework and opportunities for breathing space and imagery, while staying true to the brief. This mix of new elements with a familiar feel ensured the report felt fresh, but also consistent with previous editions.
Incorporating images taken by the CCCSA team bolstered the sense of community and connection that embodies the organisation. These images, provided by CCCSA, beautifully capture the essence of their programs and the unique rural locations where they operate. By blending these visuals with carefully selected stock imagery, we created a final product that not only showcases the organisation’s mission and achievements, but also visually underscores their deep commitment to fostering relationships and nurturing wellbeing within the communities they serve.
With the annual report complete, CCCSA now has a beautiful, tangible publication for stakeholders, telling the story of their work in 2023, and importantly, an ongoing reference of their accomplishments for the team to celebrate. We are proud to help bring this important work to life.
