Cluey Learning delivers a personalised, face-to-face online tutoring experience that is accessible, convenient and mapped to the Australian National Curriculum. Following Cluey’s acquisition of Code Camp, the business continues to expand its offering to young learners, blending structured tutoring with creative coding and holiday programs.
Our long-standing relationship with Cluey has seen us deliver multiple annual reports. In 2024, with Code Camp now part of the Cluey family, we were tasked with evolving the design to reflect both brands, while maintaining the consistency and integrity that Cluey stakeholders expect.
Having produced Cluey’s previous two annual reports, the team again engaged pepperit to maintain consistency with the established Cluey brand while thoughtfully introducing elements from the Code Camp identity. The brief called for a refined balance of the two brands, ensuring the report remained professional for ASX reporting, while capturing the fun and energy that Code Camp brings.
We presented multiple initial design concepts, each exploring a balance between the established Cluey brand and Code Camp. The design needed to feel fresh while still aligning with the style and structure of previous years’ reports.
A key feature of the design was the colour palette. The colour palette was carefully considered, with a gradient blending Cluey’s signature orange into Code Camp’s primary blue, to create a harmonious visual link between the two brands.
Playful shapes and design motifs were introduced throughout, to reflect the educational focus of the business and its young audience. At every stage, we maintained a sense of fun and approachability without compromising the professionalism required for an ASX-listed company.
Imagery was selected to keep the focus on students and learning outcomes, while diverse breakout pages added visual interest to the detailed financial content. This approach allowed us to evolve the annual report design, introduce fresh creative elements, and still remain consistent with the reports we had previously produced for Cluey.
